What's Happening @ Books for Walls:

Antarctica and Articles and iPads and What You are Reading RIGHT NOW and The Teacher rounded out with Paper and Inspiration and Photos and Ideas --a full week.

This week will be even better.  We'll introduce you to The Dreamer, The Friend and The Writer.  We'll have more on Antarctica (the Sister's can wait) and Friday we'll be following another Books For Walls Goal and watch as Mission STS-132 gets underway (launch scheduled May 14, 2010 2:20pm.)  And our new Challenge, well its really good, so good all Four of Us are working on it with a little help from all over!

Tomorrow you'll meet The Dreamer, she has high hopes that the project will reach the big old White House.  On Sunday President Barack Obama told an audience of graduates,
"...with iPods and iPads, and Xboxes and PlayStations -- none of which I know how to work -- information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation. So all of this is not only putting pressure on you; it's putting new pressure on our country and on our democracy."
Judging from that and the rest of the speech highlighting education and emancipation, we think The President would approve of the Books for Walls Project --and all the reading we are doing-- The Dreamer's goals seem pretty reasonable, come back and meet her tomorrow!

Finally, last night when asked what she'd like to share with our readers this week, the Little Sister said, "I want to talk about how BEAUTIFUL it is outside!"  And so here is the poem that she dictated...  Have a great week, we hope to hear from you!

The Little Sister's Springtime Poem

The earth is sprouting grass,
The leaves are sprouting
and the trees are beautiful now.
The flowers are blooming
purple, yellow and also blue.
The stems are bright green
some dark green too.
Beautiful.
It makes me Happy.
