Feeling inspired? We are!

Time for a little inspiration break at the Books for Walls Project.

Whether you like stop motion animation,

or you're in the mood for some
creative bookshelf organization
we have something for you!

This week The Sisters discovered Shawn the Sheep and learned all about stop motion animation (yes, they have plans to make their own stop motion film.)

And yesterday The Mom found this little movie treasure that marries The Dad's passion for classical guitar, The Sisters recent find, and our mutual love, BOOKS:

When We Were Very Young Challenge

Take five minutes. (Please.)

Now think of reading and books,
take a deep breath,
try to clear your mind and think back,
way back,
think of  a memory,
a first memory
of books and reading.

What do you remember?

In the comments below,
tell us your story!

Books with Heart Challenge

This one is easy, maybe.

For more on this wonderful book,
by the amazing Sue Monk Kidd

This week I, The Mom, was asked by a BFWP Reader for a book suggestion
"Any good ideas for heart books, books that give hope but also have a great story to escape into... something ala Secret Life of Bees (by Sue Monk Kidd) or The Help (by Kathryn Stockett)?"

Instead of pulling a books from my muddy memory
I decided to ask you,
Dear Readers,
for a little help...

So please take this week's BFWP Reader inspired challenge:

can you think of a heart book,
a book that
gives hope
but also has
a great story to escape into?

Please use the following format for your comment:
Title of the Book, Author, and your thoughts on the book.
