Feeling inspired? We are!

Time for a little inspiration break at the Books for Walls Project.

Whether you like stop motion animation,
classical guitar,
or you're in the mood for some
creative book shelf organization
we have something for you!

This week The Sisters discovered Shawn the Sheep and learned all about stop motion animation (yes, they have plans to make their own stop motion film.)

And yesterday The Mom found this little movie treasure that marries The Dad's passion for classical guitar, The Sisters recent find, and our mutual love, BOOKS:

Want more?
  • for LAUGHS: Shawn the Sheep
  • for amazing classical guitar: Rodrigo y Garbriela's website
  • to learn about the minds that put together the short film: Sean Ohlenkamp, click here and Lisa Blonder Ohlenkamp, click here

P.S. You may notice that we do not post as much lately --simple reason: we homeschool and from January through April we try to focus on what is right in front of us (whatever that may be!) Last year at this time we were dreaming up The Books for Walls Project!
Don't worry, we have plenty of inspiration
and ideas to keep this wonderful project going!

Happy Weekend!

  1. The Sisters comment:

"Watch it BIG over and over... there are lots of little things to notice!"

For instance: THE END and there are Calvin and Hobbes books on the shelves!!

  2. I wanna help with the stop motion animation!!!!

    unka kiss

  3. Speaking of noticing things when you look more than once, I have a table in my living room that looks exactly like the one next to the bookcase. It dates to the middle of the 19th century. How coincidental is that?!

  4. I'd love to know how long it took (in total) to create this little masterpiece!
