I FEEL the presence of old fingertips turning pages when I am in there... northern Michigan history comes alive insode Mills & I like to imagine I am in a book myself! Is it a mystery? Or is it a comedy of errors? I like to smooth wood on the walls, the tall ceilings, the old maps, and the trees out back, the park next door, and though the busy highway is just outside the door, I always feel a world away!christinaryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16172269175679894411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5154649481632827304.post-84832638913501342652011-12-01T17:54:51.728-05:002011-12-01T17:54:51.728-05:00The Frankfort Library doesn't let people out o...The Frankfort Library doesn't let people out of the property tax area check out materials without paying $100+ per year for a library card. Good work too, encouraging MM to consider a re-route from A**z*n to a local book seller like The Bookstore in Frankfort or Horizon in TVC or Brilliant Books in Suttons Bay! :)

I'd like to make a suggestion that your autographed copy be granted to the Benzie Shores District Library branch in Frankfort, MI. The staff is sweet & helpful & the setting is one of my very favorites... you can sit near the window closest to the bay and in between inspirational tidbits of prose or poetry, you can take a deep inhalation, and take a look at the lovely northern Michigan landscape (and if time permits, take a fabulous walk on the trail just out the window; perhaps to the beach, where waves crash & splash).

Daydream over. Thanks Books For Walls for your ever-present activism! You inspire me to no end!jenn ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10459804215282659291noreply@blogger.com
